I love being a pediatrician. I love getting to know the children I care for, listening to their parents, and building the kind of trust that makes it easier to ask questions—even the ones that start with, “This might sound silly, but…” Parenting comes with enough uncertainty. Finding clear, useful health information shouldn’t add to it. That’s why I started this newsletter. In my work, I meet parents who want to do what’s best for their children but feel overwhelmed by advice or unsure where to turn. My goal is to make common childhood health questions easier to understand, with practical guidance you can use in everyday family life. I hope each issue leaves you feeling a little more informed, a little more confident, and a little less overwhelmed. My training began at NYU, followed by medical school at George Washington University and a pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). I’m board-certified in pediatrics and have spent the past 10 years caring for children in hospitals, urgent care, telehealth, and primary care. Over time, primary care became the right fit for me. It gives me the chance to know families beyond a single appointment—to watch children grow, understand their needs, and build relationships that last. I’m glad you’re here, and I look forward to sharing this space with you.
